Leaders Worth Following Data Collection

Privacy and the protection of data are important to WholeLeader. The research will be conducted objectively and in accordance with established scientific principles. WholeLeader research protocols are designed to conform, to the best of our ability, to national and international legislation applicable in the countries involved in any given research project. 

This Data Usage Policy outlines how WholeLeader collects, uses, and protects the data. By participating in this data collection, a person agrees to the terms set forth in this policy.

Purpose of Data Collection 

The Leaders Worth Following data collection is intended to generate insights into exceptional leadership. The data will help us enhance leadership development and propagate best practices. 

Data Collection 

  • Types of Data Collected: Leaders Worth Following will collect perceptions, attitudes, demographic information, and open-ended responses.  

  • Method of Collection: Data is collected through Qualtrics, a secure online platform. For information on Qualtrics data security and confidentiality protections, click here).  

Data Usage

  • Internal Use: The collected data will be used internally by WholeLeader to analyze the experiences and practices of exceptional leaders and enhance leadership development offerings. WholeLeader will also maintain a confidential database of nominators, nominees, and their email addresses. WholeLeader may send invitations for follow-up research opportunities if important questions arise from the current research.  

  • Reporting: The data collected will be combined and stripped of any identifying information before being analyzed. Aggregated and anonymized findings may be included in reports, presentations, or publications. Responses may be grouped according to job level, industry, gender, or other demographic categories to generate and present insights using quantitative or qualitative analysis.   

  • Third-Party Sharing: Personal data will not be sold, traded, or otherwise transferred to outside parties.  

Data Protection

  • Confidentiality. Participant privacy is always ensured. All collected data will be handled as completely confidential and in accordance with professional best practices. 

  • Security Measures: WholeLeader has implemented appropriate security measures to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes secure servers and restricted access. 

  • Data Retention: retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, and securely deleted from WholeLeader and Qualtrics when no longer needed. 

Participant Rights

  • Withdrawal: Participation in the nomination process and research is voluntary. A person may choose not to participate in the research or withdraw their consent at any time, which will not affect their relationship with WholeLeader. 

  • Deletion: A participant may request the deletion of their data if they have already submitted their data
